Tap Start and allow precise location. Keep this page visible for speed updates.
Estimates from your device location. Distance can miss movement during signal gaps. Set up before moving and let a passenger handle the screen.
Trip controls and details
History is off by default. Up to 20 summaries are kept for 30 days. Recorded routes need a separate save confirmation.

Running speed, pace and splits
Choose running mode, press Start and allow location. Pace is shown in min/km or min/mi when speed is high enough to produce a useful value. The split table records distance milestones from accepted data.
A split can contain a signal interruption. Missing sections are marked instead of being presented as continuously recorded movement.
Stops and recording choices
Auto-pause is optional and starts off. You can also pause manually. Moving time and active elapsed time help distinguish a stop from a slower section.
Save history only if you want a local summary. Enable route recording separately if you need a GPX file. These results are estimates and are not a certified race time.
Questions and answers
When does the browser ask for location?
Press Start to request location. If you have already allowed this site, measurement can begin without another prompt. A blocked permission must be changed in your browser or device settings.
What does a dash mean?
A dash means Xpeed has no usable recent reading. A measured zero is a valid speed. Returning to the page or moving to a place with better reception may help the device provide a new reading.
