Use the cycling speedometer for a ride
Choose your unit and press Start before riding. Keep the page visible if you need updates. Speed, distance and the chart use accepted readings from your device.
Trip average and moving average use different time totals. Read both with the signal gap count, especially after stops or interrupted reception.
Choose automatic pause
Auto-pause is off by default. When enabled, low-speed readings can pause movement counting and a higher threshold resumes it. These thresholds are engineering settings and have not been calibrated against your ride.
GPS location noise can affect low-speed readings. No wheel sensor, cadence sensor or power meter is connected.
Questions and answers
When does the browser ask for location?
Press Start to request location. If you have already allowed this site, measurement can begin without another prompt. A blocked permission must be changed in your browser or device settings.
What does a dash mean?
A dash means Xpeed has no usable recent reading. A measured zero is a valid speed. Returning to the page or moving to a place with better reception may help the device provide a new reading.
