Trip controls and details
History is off by default. Up to 20 summaries are kept for 30 days. Recorded routes need a separate save confirmation.
Your chosen limit is a personal reminder. It does not identify the legal road speed limit.

Use the car speedometer online
Press Start to check location access. If you already allowed the site, measurement starts without another prompt. Stop clears the location watch and ends the current calculation.
The dial and Start/Stop permission flow use the same implementation approach as Utilza's vehicle speedometer. Xpeed adds optional local history and activity controls.
Compare readings with care
Your dashboard and your phone obtain speed differently. Sample timing, reception and rounding can produce different readings. This tool does not certify a vehicle speedometer or tell you how to recalibrate it.
Keep your attention on the road. A user-set alert is a personal threshold, not a road's legal speed limit.
Questions and answers
When does the browser ask for location?
Press Start to request location. If you have already allowed this site, measurement can begin without another prompt. A blocked permission must be changed in your browser or device settings.
What does a dash mean?
A dash means Xpeed has no usable recent reading. A measured zero is a valid speed. Returning to the page or moving to a place with better reception may help the device provide a new reading.
