Allow precise location when your browser asks. Location readings stay in this tab unless you choose to save a route on this device.
Tap Start and allow precise location. Keep this page visible for speed updates.
Estimates from your device location. Distance can miss movement during signal gaps. Set up before moving and let a passenger handle the screen.
Trip controls and details
History is off by default. Up to 20 summaries are kept for 30 days. Recorded routes need a separate save confirmation.
Your chosen limit is a personal reminder. It does not identify the legal road speed limit.

Check bus speed during your ride
Press Start after boarding and allow location. The reading follows your phone, so you need to be on the bus you want to measure. Keep the page visible and press Stop when you finish.
Use km/h or mph to match your trip. No route number, bus timetable or operator feed is needed.
Read stops and averages correctly
Traffic lights and bus stops affect the average across the trip. Moving average answers a different question: your average during accepted movement. Neither figure reconstructs missing GPS data.
Covered terminals, buildings and device power controls can interrupt readings. A stale reading becomes a dash; a valid standstill remains zero.
Questions and answers
When does the browser ask for location?
Press Start to request location. If you have already allowed this site, measurement can begin without another prompt. A blocked permission must be changed in your browser or device settings.
What does a dash mean?
A dash means Xpeed has no usable recent reading. A measured zero is a valid speed. Returning to the page or moving to a place with better reception may help the device provide a new reading.
